All the Major transfers of the summer transfer window – 18/19

The summer transfer window of 2018 was anything but predictable as we saw more than a few moves which raised a lot of eyebrows. Here are all the major signings of the recently concluded transfer window. 1. Nainggolan – Roma to Inter The experienced midfielder switched to Inter after making over 200 appearances for Roma for a reported €38 million. 2. Cazorla – Arsenal to Villarreal Santi Cazorla returned to Villarreal and will make his first competitive appearance in almost 2 years after a ligament injury. He was released by Arsenal at the end of his contract. 3. Jorginho – Napoli to Chelsea Chelsea's hijacked Manchester City's deal to sign Jorginho after Bakayoko's dismal first season at Stamford Bridge made it crucial for the Blues to sign a quality central midfielder. This season's Premier League has been quite a one horse race. None of the "Top 6" have been able to match Manchester City's quality on the field. Individually, we have seen the rise of a number of players. Among them are Romelu Lukaku, Kevin de Bruyne and the "Egyptian Messi" , Mohamed Salah, all of whom have been a part of Chelsea at some point in their careers as young prospects. 1. Romelu Lukaku First comes Lukaku, who signed for Chelsea from Anderlecht after scoring 19 and 20 goals in 2 consecutive seasons. He instantly took his place on the bench as Chelsea had one too many strikers to deal with. Torres and Drogba were both ahead of the Belgian in the pecking order, and both of them proved pivotal to Chelsea's success in the Champions League in 2012.
